About the book
Three scriptures. Half the human race. One forensic question nobody had dared to ask.
The Torah, the Gospel and the Quran are held by more than half the human race, and held in mutual suspicion. Each tradition accuses the others of corruption. Their shared material, the same patriarchs and prophets, the same episodes and many of the same laws, has been read for centuries as proof of borrowing or of rivalry. What none had done is bring that material to a forensic standard.
Six explanations could account for what the three books share: coincidence; copying from the Bible; the reverse, the Bible drawing on the Quran; absorption from the religious world of seventh-century Arabia; convergent religious psychology; and a common source. All six are named and built to full strength before a single scripture is opened, together with the rules for scoring and the conditions that would reverse a finding. None of them moves afterwards. The explanation the author holds is given no privilege; it must win on the same terms as the rest.
You were told these books argue with each other. This asks a colder question: where did they come from?
Only specific shared particulars count as evidence of kinship, never general themes that any religion might share. Every particular is scored against every explanation on a grid the reader can audit, cell by cell. Then the book turns to the part a hurried reader would skip, and the part that decides the case: the doctrinal divergences, Trinity, sonship, atonement, crucifixion and election, catalogued in full, in each tradition’s own words. Where those divergences fall is the hinge of the whole argument.
Consider how a court reads a later will. A rival will names a new testator, revokes the earlier instrument and claims novelty. A codicil names the same testator, confirms the earlier instrument and corrects the copies. The book applies that checklist to the Quran and asks which it behaves like. It runs the same instruments on a control, a nineteenth-century scripture with a known human author, to show that the method can tell a true sibling from a mimic.
Put every explanation in the dock. See which one the evidence cannot break.
The book opens on the verdict of Volumes I to IV of Beyond Human Design: the Quran’s source is the Creator. That verdict assumes nothing about the Torah or the Gospel, so the book’s rule against circular argument holds in full, and its own instruments ask the further question. The adverse exhibits are entered at full weight, the erased lower text of the Ṣanʿāʾ palimpsest among them, and doctrine is left to the traditions.
The book does not ask anyone to convert, and its instruments do not adjudicate doctrine. Each tradition’s own scholars are given the last word on what they know best, and the reader of every faith will find his scripture handled with respect. A verification register at the back gives every load-bearing claim its source, records exclusions with their reasons, and records divided questions as divided.
The verdict is stated at the strength the evidence earns, with no invented probability figure.
Written by Abdul Zahir Sheikh, a Certified Fraud Examiner and Senior Partner at BDO East Africa with four decades of investigative experience across fourteen countries, this is the book that treats the shared inheritance of the Abrahamic scriptures as a case, and asks what that inheritance tells us about where it came from.
